Maven Mapping Solutions was started by three surveyors with the same common goal of providing technologically advanced and high-quality design mapping and professional land surveying services. Maven Mapping Solutions is a surveying firm specializing in remote sensing data capture for publicly funded projects. With expertise in LiDAR, photogrammetry, and advanced geospatial analysis, we provide accurate and high-resolution data to support infrastructure development, environmental monitoring, and urban planning initiatives. Our team leverages cutting-edge drone and satellite technology to efficiently map and analyze landscapes, ensuring precise and reliable insights for government agencies, municipalities, and research institutions. Meet Our Team

Jesse White, PLS (OR, WA)
President
Jesse is a surveyor with more than 24 years of experience in land surveying across the country, ranging from cadastral surveys, industrial surveys (including structural modeling and analysis, hazmat containment volumetric survey, mechanical layout, and more), highways, local roads, right-of-way surveys, oil pipeline route surveying, residential and commercial site development. Jesse started Maven Mapping Solutions with his partners with the goal of providing high-tech and high-quality mapping solutions for public design projects. Jesse leads our remote sensing (scanning) operations, terrestrial and aerial LiDAR. He is directly responsible for all boundary retracements and parcel creation, preparation of parcel and easement and dedication legal description, centerline and right-of-way establishment, remote sensing data collection and modeling, proposal and report preparation, and developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules. He brings proficiency in utilizing computer-aided civil engineering design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and Bentley OpenRoads. These options provide Maven Mapping Solutions and our clients with state-of-the-art options in data collection and creative solutions to their modeling and design needs.

Erik Van Buskirk, PLS (ID, WA)
Vice-President
Erik is a licensed land surveyor in Washington and Idaho with over 25 years of surveying experience in the Puget Sound and surrounding areas. He regularly works alongside engineers to support multimodal transportation and pedestrian infrastructure projects. With his expertise in surveying, Erik brings a reputation of professionalism and reliability to his clients. His reliable survey analysis is critical for the successful completion of these projects. He manages business operations, client engagement, and the preparation and execution of surveys, along with coordinating field crews and CAD Technicians, and performing quality control for all surveying and mapping work phases. His survey experience includes topographic mapping, boundary and right-of-way resolution, utility surveying, legal descriptions and exhibits preparation, 3D laser scanning, construction layout, and base map production derived from various sources. Erik has proven management skills and the technical competence to provide surveys and maps using various techniques to locate, identify, and assess existing systems and utilities.

Branden Bowie, PLS (WA)
Vice-President
Branden is a professional land surveyor with more than 15 years of experience in land surveying across the state of Washington. His experience includes cadastral surveys, industrial surveys (including CIM/BIM modeling), highways, local roads, right-of-way surveys, residential and commercial site development. Branden started Maven Mapping Solutions with his partners with the goal of providing high-tech and high-quality mapping solutions for public design projects by leveraging remote sensing (3D laser scanning) operations, terrestrial LiDAR and aerial LiDAR. He is responsible for boundary retracements and parcel creation, preparation of parcel, easement and dedication legal description, centerline and right-of-way establishment, remote sensing data collection and modeling, proposal and report preparation, developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules, in Washington state. Branden has over 10 years of experience working with terrestrial lidar, 3D laser scanning workflows and creating 3D models in CAD and Revit. He brings proficiency utilizing computer-aided civil engineering design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and Bentley Microstation InRoads. These options provide Maven Mapping Solutions and our clients with the world’s most state-of-the-art options in data collection and creative solutions to meet their modeling and design needs.
